Catering Academy was shortlisted for the title alongside ISS Education in Woking and The Brookwood Partnership in Walton-on-Thames and was presented with the award at a glittering awards ceremony at London’s Royal Garden Hotel on Monday October 17th.
This is the second year that Bernard Matthews Foodservice and its Big Green Tick range of British turkey products has sponsored the Contract Caterer of the Year category. Its involvement reflects the company’s commitment to the education sector at a time when education caterers face growing pressure to provide enticing, nutritious meals for school children that tick all the boxes.
The accolade recognises the lengths some contract caterers go to to ensure a better class of school meal provision for the good of future generations.
